About the Freemotion Team - Michael Bailey
Allow me to introduce myself. My Name is Michael and welcome to Freemotion. I teach a conditioning workout based around various methods that I have learnt over the 11 years I have been involved in fitness. A conditioning workout is designed to build strentgh stamina and flexibility, I have studied classical and contemporary Pilates both in the UK and the USA.
Also I spent time in India studying Ashtanga Yoga. I have put together a workout incorporating influences from the holistic approach to exercise. It has been designed to work your entire body. If you want to really tone, lengthen and strengthen, this is your Foundation!
Coming from a gym background I started with calanetics originally and went on to train with premier training as a personal trainer.
Having built up a steady client base I began to experiment with different training methods. Discovering Yoga and eventually Pilates. I believe in doing things properly so to learn more I have gone straight to the source on both subjects. Spending time in India for yoga which I am still studying and will be teaching from October. New York for Pilates in the world famous 5th Avenue true Pilates studio. I have spent time in Thailand at a Maui Thai Fight camp to learn kickboxing. I also experienced Thai-Chi and meditation in Hong Kong.

I have taught everything from cycling classes, running clubs, circuits, weight lifting, aerobics and Hip Hop and I have come full circle.
I have been very fortunate to work with some very inspiring teachers. My teaching knowledge and style is a combination of all these disciplines and teachings, which makes me a very well rounded individual.
I have trained people all the way from hip replacements, M.E Scoliosis to golf players and athletes training for sports specific.
I am so confident about freemotion that I will say this: "Follow the guidelines with honesty whilst maintaining the integrity of the exercises and you will start to feel the difference after the first session." Without struggle there is no progress.
